VC firm, California Technology Ventures, provides start up financing for Blade Games Worldwide

Blade Games Worldwide receives $4 Million in funding sources

Blade Games World, Inc., announced it had raised $4 Million in �Series A Round� in venture capital funding. California Technology Ventures was the lead investor.

In February 2009, Seattle based Blade Games World was developed through the merger of China based Digini and Vyk Games. With the merger, Blade Games offers a state-of-the-art development platform and outsourcing services to assist every type of game maker. Through its subscription based service, Blade Games World offers a game engine and platform that allows individuals and developers the ability to develop their dream game. From the expert to the novice, individual or group, anyone can build a custom game with Blade Games World multi-tiered subscription based technology. The program is touted as low cost tool with a variety of special features that combine all facets of development for artists, programmers and designers. Blade Games offers tiered subscriptions are starting at $14.95 per month for students and hobbyists, $29.96 monthly for independent developers to $99.95 per month for professionals.

With funding secured, Blade Games World is planning a major technology expansion for video game production and development. According to California Technology Ventures, the lower price point of Blade Games World will result in the growth in new businesses and future advancements in interactive entertainment around the world.

Blade Games World is based in Seattle, Washington with offices in Nanjin and Shanghai, China. The company is led by President Tom Sperry, CEO Tony Garcia and a skilled team of professionals with experiences from Electronic Arts, Microsoft Visual Studio, Lucas Arts, Motorola and Microsoft Game Studios.
