VC Firm, Sierra Ventures Leads $10 Million Investment in TouchCommerce

Based in Agoura Hills, Califonia, leader in the Pay for Online Conversion industry, TouchCommerce announced that it is to close a $10 million investment led by Sierra Ventures.   Other vc firms participating in this investment round include Dolphin Equity Partners, Emergence Capital, Hudson Ventures, and Partech International.   TouchCommerse offers solutions for Pay for Online Conversion by combining first-rate customer analytics and live interaction technology with program optimizing services.  TouchCommerce’s product allows sales and care chat agents to significantly increase the incentives for a customer to do business with the company that uses this product as well as increasing customer satisfaction with support issues. 

According to Bernard Louvat, TouchCommerce’s CEO, the addition of Sierra Ventures to the list of the company’s investors is great, since Sierra has a reputation for sound investing policies and great experience in the industry.   The TouchCommerce team is looking forward to working closely with Sierra in a partnership to develop and build vanguard technologies and services enable the company’s clients to engage their customers better online and have their websites be more effective in selling products and providing better tech support.

Since its foundation in 1999, TouchCommerce has expanded globally and has ongoing business agreements with several dozen of the top F1000 clients in the telecommunications, financial, retail, and travel industries.   Further more, Jason Green, representative from Emergence Capital adds that TouchCommerce delivers a strong ROI to its clients without the risk and a minimal upfront cost.  This performance-based model is why TouchCommerce is able to expand and grow during these times of financial uncertainty.

Partech International was founded in 1982 and is a leading international vc firm that has offices in the United States, Europe, and Israel.  Partech International has $900 million in assets under its management and focuses exclusively on the IT industry.
