Favour drive instead of ideas

What makes an entrepreneur succeed are oftentimes not the ideas, even if it is an amazing one, but the willingness of the entrepreneur to put all his effort in making the idea a reality even if this means a constant process of trial and error. Everybody gets good ideas sometimes, but only the people who decide to act on them, put them in practice and are persistent will succeed.

Put the Subconscious to Work

Even if the mind is engaged in some kind of monotonous task it does not mean that you cannot get a good idea. On the contrary. In these moments the subconscious mind is active and can come up with a great idea or business model.

I had the same experience. The idea of my company StraightFit, came up while I was driving on the highway with my mind wandering and not thinking about work at all. My subconscious mind was actively working this whole time in the background guiding my thoughts. So don`t be afraid to take a break from it all or even engage in relaxing and mindless activities, because when you do that the mind might come up with a solution for the problems that you are dealing with. The mind tends to become very creative when you are not actively seeking to solve an issue.

Co-founder and CEO, StraightFit

Powerful secrets of Creative Entrepreneurs (inside)

Here are some of the most important and powerful secrets of entrepreneurs who turn their ideas into raving success stories:

  • Listen to your customers: Always be prepared to ask for feedback from your customers. Change or adapt the products to the needs and desires of your clients. Find out what they like or dislike about your product or service.
  • Listen to your employees and get in contact with your customers: Some of you employees are in direct contact with your customers, especially the front-line employees and the one engaged in the manufacturing. You will get great insights from them. The front-line employees will get excellent feedback from client and the workers who manufacture the widgets will often know what takes too long to accomplish, what are the common problems and what raises costs. Talk to the workers and come up with better ways to do things.
