can i send my business proposal to more than just one investor?

Yes, in fact, it is actually recommended for you to do so because this will make you gain time. Even if more than just one investor will want to hear your pitch, you cannot be sure that he will be interested in funding your business until he signs the check. During this time, you can get in touch with more investors so that you can have a backup strategy. You can always stop the negotiations with a certain investor if you have already received the needed funds from somebody else. Moreover, it is only common to raise money from more than just one investor as they don’t necessarily accept to provide the entire amount you have asked for at the beginning. So, raising capital from more investors is the only way of managing to obtain all the funds you need.
